The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III is a full-frame mirrorless zoom lens available in two main versions: the earlier RXD (Model A036) and the newer VXD G2 (Model A063), both designed for Sony E-mount. Both are compact and lightweight, featuring a constant f/2.8 aperture and versatile 28-75mm focal range. The VXD G2 model is an update with an improved optical design, a faster and quieter VXD linear motor for autofocus, a closer minimum focusing distance of 0.18m, and the addition of the TAMRON Lens Utility software for customization.
